Hi Brian. Congratulations! and sorry for my bad english I will do my best.
¿This type of air pumping process tally with deep well air pumping method? Using air compressor submergence of the end pipe in water most be double than head in order to have a more or less good effiency. Waiting for your news. Mauricio

I find that 1 to 1 works fine.
The flow I find best is plug flow mixed with bubble flow. I think the deep pumps are exclusively bubble flow (lots more turbulence) and perhaps this explains the difference.
I do not think low pressure airlift has been investigated properly.
The pumps I built are in ireland and I have not seen them in about 5 years.
The submergence on the best one is 2.5 m if I remember correctly and it is usually used to pump to just over 3 meters high.
Thanks for you interest
Brian
